Overview About the Role

We seek a dynamic Head of Operations, Automation and AI to build the future of automation at Gallagher Bassett. You will design and execute automation initiatives, collaborate with business units, IT and BI, oversee project execution, and establish governance frameworks to ensure successful automation solutions.

Responsibilities Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement a roadmap for automation and AI initiatives across Gallagher Bassett’s operations.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and service delivery through automation.

Evaluate and integrate suitable technologies to address operational needs.

Execution and Delivery

Lead the execution of automation projects in collaboration with IT, external vendors, and business units.

Drive change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of automation solutions.

Oversee project delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.

Governance and Collaboration

Establish governance frameworks to oversee automation rollout and ensure compliance.

Collaborate with global teams to leverage best practices and maintain process consistency.

Act as a key liaison between leadership, IT, and business units to drive alignment and execution.

Awareness and Advocacy

Build awareness of automation solutions internally through showcases, training sessions, and communication strategies.

Advocate for automation initiatives externally with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Highly effective leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage teams.

An innate understanding of business operations.

Experience and leadership expertise within the Insurance industry highly desirable.

A passion for innovation and a critical/forward-thinking mindset.

Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.

Knowledge of AI and automation technologies, with a willingness to learn and grow in this space.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.
