We are now seeking an experienced and passionate
General Manager - RTO
to lead our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) through its next phase of growth. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role that combines operational excellence with regulatory governance. Our focus areas are Queensland-wide and the Pacific Islands.

About the Role
You will oversee the
day-to‑day operations
of MANAWISE Education while ensuring full compliance with the
Standards for RTOs 2025 .
Lead operational delivery and support trainers and assessors
Drive compliance, governance, audit preparation, and continuous improvement
Develop and review TAS, policies, resources, and quality systems
Oversee student lifecycle processes and AVETMISS compliance
Support the CEO with strategic planning, risk management, and reporting
Uphold MANAWISE values of culture, excellence, and purpose
Design and implement strategic growth plans
Ensure financial responsibility across the RTO, including budget proposals, management and expenditure control
Maintain full RTO compliance and prepare for ASQA audits
Develop, review, and oversee Training & Assessment Strategies
Lead internal audits, validation, moderation, and continuous improvement cycles
Manage trainer competency mapping, PD logs, and assessment integrity
Oversee student services, enrolments, and AVETMISS reporting
Support resource development and LMS administration
Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to RTO staff
Build strong industry relationships and ensure training is industry‑aligned
About You
You will bring:
Demonstrated strong financial literacy including budgeting, reporting, cost analysis and ensuring viability
Demonstrated experience in RTO leadership, compliance, or quality management
Strong knowledge of the Standards for RTOs 2025 and VET regulatory requirements
Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and drive outcomes
Excellent documentation, governance, and systems management skills
High‑level communication and stakeholder engagement capability
TAE40116/TAE40122 desirable but not essential
Experience in community services, child protection, or culturally diverse settings (highly regarded)
Work with a purpose‑driven team committed to community impact
