Head of Continuous Improvement and Efficiencies

Overview
Reporting to the Pacific Managing Director, the Head of Continuous Improvement and Efficiencies leads organisation‑wide transformation, challenges the status quo, coaches senior business leaders, and turns innovative ideas into high‑impact financial reality.
How will you contribute and grow?
Your primary objective is to lead Pacific special projects and the broader Continuous Improvement (CIMP) program, focusing on:
Own and drive the entity cost control and efficiency programme : through large and small projects, partnering with business leaders to identify, develop and execute efficiency programmes.
Special Projects : full ownership of end‑to‑end projects aimed at controlling and sustaining the P&L, engaging with SBL Heads to conduct assessments, provide high‑level recommendations, and execute initiatives that move the needle.
CIMP Program Leadership : drive a culture of bottom‑up efficiency, coach teams to identify lean opportunities, develop programmes of work, and lead the CIMP belt programme, facilitating employees in achieving their CIMP qualifications and completing projects.
Capital Process Ownership : act as the business process owner for the entity capital budget, forecast annual needs, manage quarterly allocations, and guide Investment Committees on high‑stakes project submissions.
Steering Committee Influence : active member of the IM Leadership team, providing data‑driven advice, challenging business direction, and owning the IM KPI programme.
Local FIT Champion : lead the implementation of FIT value initiatives and foster the FIT performance culture as the local FIT PMO.
Key capabilities and experience
Analytical Powerhouse : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Engineering with financial literacy to manage a P&L and technical mindset for complex supply chain and manufacturing operations.
Proven Project Leader : Strong foundation in end‑to‑end project management and deep operational experience.
Lean Expert : Background in LEAN principles; ideally holds a CIMP Green Belt or demonstrates drive to achieve one.
Influencing Leader : Excels at coaching leaders, facilitating change and communicating with impact across all levels.
Strategic Decision Maker : Navigates solution pathways, uses quantitative reasoning to provide “Go or No Go” recommendations for major investments.
