Role Description: Are you passionate about leading transformative technology strategies? We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. Location: Melbourne. Salary: AUD 108751 - 119893 Annual Gross. Flexible working arrangements (hybrid, reviewed case-by-case basis).
Role and Responsibilities
Maintain excellent relationship with customer’s business and IT stakeholders
Manage and optimize SQL databases for high availability and scalability
Stay on top of day-to-day incident management in the digital domain, working with customer’s business/IT teams and Infosys offshore delivery teams
Proactive problem management and reduction of incidents by designing SOPs and improvement initiatives in coordination with Infosys delivery teams
Lead domain-specific improvement discussions with customer IT SPOCs and refine delivery processes in consultation with Infosys leadership to enhance the overall customer experience
Create opportunities for further penetration of Infosys in the digital domain
Lead, guide and mentor Infosys domain delivery teams to align with customer expectations of satisfactory experience
Perform query tuning, indexing, and schema optimization
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Over 8 years of experience with exposure to digital/ecommerce domain
Strong proficiency in SQL (query optimization, stored procedures, triggers)
Previous end-customer facing roles preferably in retail or similar B2C industry
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
ANZ customer facing role experience for at least one year
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute methodically
