$140,000 - $170,000 + super

We’re seeking an experienced

Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer

to join a growing civil contractor delivering key

infrastructure projects

across Adelaide.

About the Role You will play a critical role in coordinating construction activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Working closely with project managers and site teams, you’ll contribute to both operational and commercial project success.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver civil infrastructure packages in line with project programs

Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and materials

Prepare and manage QA documentation, ITPs, and RFIs

Review drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies

Monitor progress and implement mitigation strategies where required

Assist with procurement and cost tracking

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards

Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders

Mentor and support junior engineers (Senior role)

Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Engineer in civil construction

Experience across infrastructure or structures highly regarded

Strong understanding of QA processes and documentation

Ability to manage subcontractors and site operations

Strong communication and coordination skills
