Role Overview The IT Director will drive AMS’s technology strategy, lead digital transformation, and deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions. This leader will oversee all IT operations, automation initiatives, system integrations, and team development—reporting directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute AMS’s IT vision, aligning with business growth and automation goals

Oversee IT infrastructure, system integrations (Seqous, TMS, Etrack), and cloud environments

Lead digital transformation projects (automation, API integrations, Zendesk, sortation tech)

Ensure cybersecurity, data integrity, and regulatory compliance

Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology partnerships

Build and mentor a high-performing IT and automation team

Support rapid client onboarding and international expansion

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field

8+ years’ experience in IT leadership (preferably logistics, e-commerce, or distribution)

Proven track record in automation, system integration, and cloud technologies

Strong project management and change leadership skills

Experience with OMS, TMS, API development, and customer support automation (Zendesk a plus)

Knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance standards

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Based in Sydney or willing to relocate
