Senior or Principal Consultant (minimum 7+ years’ experience)

to help lead and scale our offering across the

energy, water and gas

markets.

The Opportunity As a Senior / Principal Consultant, you will:

Lead full‑cycle recruitment for mid‑to‑executive level roles across energy, water and gas.

Build and deepen strategic client relationships across utilities, infrastructure, renewables and adjacent sectors.

Develop and execute targeted talent strategies in competitive technical markets.

Manage complex offer negotiations and deliver successful outcomes for clients and candidates.

Contribute to market mapping, business development and practice growth.

Represent Talesca at industry events and strengthen our national presence.

Mentor and support consultants as we expand into Sydney and Adelaide.

At Principal level, you will also play a key role in:

Driving new business development.

Shaping market strategy and contributing to office growth plans.

About You We’re looking for a high‑performing recruitment professional with:

Minimum 7+ years’ recruitment experience , ideally within energy, water, gas, infrastructure or technical markets.

A proven track record placing mid‑to‑senior and executive‑level roles.

Strong commercial acumen and relationship‑building capability.

Experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder recruitment processes.

The confidence to operate autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team.

A passion for sustainability, infrastructure and Australia’s evolving energy landscape.
