About the role
As a Technical Lead you will lead the IoT and integrations team, you will be a key player in leading and managing a development team to create software that matters. You will work closely with engineers to guide technical projects, foster a collaborative and innovative environment, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
How you will make an impact
Define and own the overall integration implementation and architecture across all integrations with 3rd party software, including API’s and SDK’s for IoT devices such as smart locks, smart lights and many more.
Lead evaluation, planning and execution of integrations with third-party systems, APIs, and hardware devices to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
Oversee, define and lead the development of internal APIs and mobile SDKs
Partner with global brands and partners to integrate hardware and software solutions into the ecosystem in a stable and scalable fashion.
Ensure all integrations delivered to QA are stable, functional, and verified against the defined requirements before testing begins.
Maintain a deep understanding of current and emerging integration technologies (e.g., REST, GraphQL, MQTT, Webhooks, Mobile SDKs).
Establish and oversee real-time monitoring, alerting, and fault resolution processes for integrations in production; ensure rapid root-cause analysis and timely fixes.
Set clear technical standards, documentation, and governance for all integrations.
Experience needed
Proven Leadership: Proven experience in a leadership role, with the ability to guide and mentor a team of engineers.
Design Patterns Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in applying design patterns to create scalable and maintainable software solutions.
Cloud and Mobile Expertise: Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and/or mobile system development.
Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, ensuring efficient and iterative development processes.
Problem‑Solving Skills: Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Version Control Systems: Experience with version control systems like Git.
Database Management: Strong knowledge of database management systems and SQL.

Working arrangement: our client operates a hybrid working model with 3 days onsite and 2 working from home
