The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and visionary Clinical Director of Medicine to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership to the Department of Medicine.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Department of Medicine

Foster excellence in clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement

Supervise and mentor senior and junior medical staff

Drive innovation and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams

Represent the Department in strategic planning and hospital‑wide initiatives

Remuneration & Benefits

Total package : up to $562,124 p.a. , including :

Professional Development Allowance ($21,500 p.a.)

Professional Development Leave (3.6 weeks p.a.)

12.75% Superannuation

17.5% Leave Loading

Motor Vehicle Allowance

Attraction & Retention Incentive Allowance (Private Practice arrangements available)

About You

Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent

Registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia

Proven leadership and governance experience in a complex healthcare environment

Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and innovation
