Job Description
Hey, I’m Greg Lewin, the Chief Medical Officer at Updoc. I’m excited to invite talented doctors to join our virtual care platform and help us build a future where no patient left behind.
About Updoc
At Updoc we’re redefining access to healthcare by harnessing technology to bridge the gap between patients in every corner of Australia and doctors on our platform.
When I spoke to an audience of Australian healthcare regulators and Chief Medical Officers at the Connect Virtual Care recently I shared how our tech platform, much like the military medical teams I used to lead across the globe, can bring care where it’s needed most. I’ve seen firsthand during my military career, my time as a Remote Medicine Doctor in the Outback and Papua New Guinea and then as Medical Director at Sonder how technology not only improves access, but saves lives.
The Role
We’re searching for high-quality and experienced doctors ready to deliver virtual care consultations from anywhere in Australia. This isn’t just about flexible work hours or a cool tech platform, it’s about doing the job you trained to do and make a real impact.
In this role you will:
Conduct telehealth consultations with patients ranging from city centres like Brisbane to remote outback regions like Broome
Leverage our integrated technology tools and robust clinical governance framework – something I’ve often discussed in my talks on how quality and safety go hand in hand with accessibility
Collaborate with our dedicated tech and support teams to ensure every patient feels truly cared for
Uphold our mission “no patient left behind” by continuously ensuring that care is not compromised even in the most challenging environments
About You
You’re an AHPRA-registered doctor passionate about telehealth and its potential to transform healthcare
You know that quality care is about more than just numbers – it’s about safety, trust and strong clinical governance

Meaningful impact:
Join a team that’s set up to reduce wait times drastically – in some cases from weeks to under an hour – and ensure every patient gets timely care
Support:
Enjoy dedicated platform training, and on-demand technical assistance via email chat and phone
