About the Company I'm representing an experienced and reputable asset owner in their search for a Project Director.

About the Role I'm seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee the delivery of a $1bn+ wind farm. You will have expertise in delivering large power / infrastructure projects, ($1bn+, oil & gas, infrastructure etc) with renewable energy experience not required. Ideally you will have successfully delivered these projects from both owners and contractors side, from start to finish. You will have excellent commercial acumen and will be flexible to be based on site when required.

Responsibilities

Plan the construction delivery for a huge wind farm project

Manage the contractor and OEM appointments

Ensure the team is set up correctly for successful delivery

Drive the project towards successful completion within specified timelines

Provide strong leadership to the project team

Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks

Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and internal teams

Prepare regular progress reports, financial statements, and other project documentation for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

Tertiary qualification

Multi-years experience in delivering large scale infrastructure / oil & gas projects (ideally $1bn+) from owners and contractors side

Strong commercial acumen and experience in managing contracts, budgets, and financial aspects of projects

Well versed across complex civil projects

Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams
