Our client is an established global business that is entering into an exciting period of growth with a number of key business projects. About the Role

Working closely with senior leaders the In‑House Counsel role is part of a collaborative and experienced legal team. It will provide commercial and legal advice on a range of legal matters in a fast‑paced and highly collaborative environment. Specific work includes: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including client, supplier, and service agreements. Monitor regulatory developments, and deliver clear and concise advice to ensure the organisation meets its regulatory requirements. Provide general legal advice on key business areas such as intellectual property, data protection, privacy, employment and management of litigation. About You

Qualified legal practitioner in Australia with 4‑8 years of experience within an in‑house team. Proven ability to deliver practical, commercially focused legal advice and independently manage legal matters. Strong understanding of relevant regulations, particularly ASIC and APRA frameworks. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage internal client relationships and external service providers, including the ability to convey legal concepts in a clear and concise manner. Excellent writing, time management skills, with high attention to detail and strong commercial acumen. Self‑motivated and able to work both as part of a team and autonomously.
