An established, values-led professional services firm is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations and execute strategy across a growing, advisory‑focused practice.
This is a senior leadership role for a commercially minded operator who enjoys working with people, building leadership capability, and turning strategic intent into consistent execution. While the firm operates within the accounting and advisory sector, the role itself is not technical, compliance‑led, or desk‑bound. It is a true business leadership position.

Lead firm‑wide operations and execution of strategy
Develop and uplift the leadership capability of managers
Drive accountability, clarity and alignment across teams
Ensure the right people are in the right roles as the business continues to evolve toward higher‑value advisory services
This role has been created to strengthen leadership depth and operational effectiveness as the firm enters its next phase of growth.
Scope and Mandate
Ownership of operational performance and execution
Oversight of financial performance, budgeting, KPIs and revenue growth
Leadership of senior staff across the practice
Active involvement in shaping the firm’s growth agenda
It is a role for someone who enjoys leading people and running a business, rather than managing a personal client base or delivering technical work.

Candidate Profile
Has held a senior operational or leadership role (General Manager, COO, Operations Manager, Practice Director or similar). Applications are welcome from diverse industry backgrounds.
Is commercially astute, with the ability to manage a P&L and drive performance
Brings strong people leadership skills and is comfortable holding others accountable in a constructive way
Operates with autonomy, judgement and initiative
Is motivated by impact, influence and building capable leadership teams
