About the opportunity We are currently seeking a General Manager to lead our team at Charles Young, which offers a blend of peaceful and convenient access to local amenities.

We need an experienced, people-centric leader who enjoys leading by example and is passionate about quality care – delivering great care in a commercially sustainable and person-centred way.

As a General Manager, you will maintain and enhance residents' health and well-being, capabilities, independence, choice, privacy, dignity and safety.

You will inspire clinical and care teams, serve as an ambassador of respect, integrity, innovation, passion, teamwork and accountability.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to Build a customer-centric home that delivers exceptional person-centred care.

Deliver commercially superior and sustainable results that meet operational and financial objectives.

Demonstrate inspirational people leadership and shape a positive and engaging culture.

Establish and leverage collaborative network relationships in partnership with external providers to deliver successful outcomes.

About you Previous experience as General Manager in an aged care facility (highly regarded).

Current AHPRA registration (desirable).

Demonstrated working knowledge of current aged-care standards, accreditation and auditing processes.

Strong commitment to delivering high-quality care, developing staff and continuously improving the site.

Solid leadership skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong people-management skills.

High degree of business acumen.

Excellent customer service skills.

Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams.

Good computer literacy.

Valid working rights in Australia.

Please note Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and / or NDIS Worker Check.
