We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Senior Project Engineer
to join our Regional Major Works Delivery team. This role will be responsible for delivering exceptional project management services, on-site coordination, and interface management of rail infrastructure construction projects, ensuring compliance with Queensland Rail's Management Systems in the areas of safety, environment, quality, and cost.
This is a
permanent full-time
position based in
Brisbane CBD
and comes with a generous remuneration package, travel allowance, and overtime.
Intrastate and interstate travel, as well as onsite work, is required for this role.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:
Extensive experience, at a Senior Project Engineer level, delivering rail track and civil projects
Experience developing, monitoring, controlling, and forecasting budgets with defined cost and time limitations
High level of skill in planning, organising, and programming the needs of major work while minimising operational impact
Sound knowledge of railway infrastructure, technical standards, and requirements
Strong communication, negotiation, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to changing situations and environment
Personal commitment to health and safety
Pre-employment qualifications
A Bachelor of Engineering – Civil is required. An offer cannot be extended without providing a JP Certified, colour copy of your degree.
