A leading global consulting firm is seeking a highly skilled professional for an immediate 6‑month contract opportunity. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing and building out their complex Azure environment, working closely with a strategic vendor partner.

The Role As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and optimization of core Azure services. Collaborate with the vendor partner to ensure technical designs are translated into high‑quality, secure, and resilient cloud deployments.

Provide subject matter expertise on Azure services, best practices, and cost optimization strategies.

Conduct technical reviews and audits of the Azure environment and vendor deliverables.

Ensure all cloud solutions comply with enterprise security standards and governance policies.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide guidance to project delivery teams.

Required Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a Cloud Solution Architect, specifically with Microsoft Azure (certifications highly regarded).

Deep expertise in core Azure services including networking, security, compute, storage, and identity (e.g., Azure VNet, NSG, Azure AD, AKS, etc.).

Strong experience working with external vendors or system integrators on large‑scale cloud projects.

Solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform or ARM templates).

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work autonomously and drive outcomes in a fast‑paced, contract environment.
