1 Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the efficient and effective implementation of substation policies, programs, standards, operation and monitoring of substation equipment and facilities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the monitoring, controlling, inspections and evaluations of substation power equipment in the assigned substation.

A. Power Transformers (5x300MVA, 230kV/115kV) - 1200MVA – in service B. Incoming 230kV Transmission Lines (2x4x795MCM ACSR) – 4800MVA 1.Dasmarinas - Las Pinas 230 kV Lines (2x4x795MCM ACSR) – 4800MVA C.Outgoing 115kV Tie Lines (4x2x795MCM ACSR) – 1200MVA D.230kV GIS (12 bays) – 6 Bays at AEG GIS and 6 Bays at XIAN GIS E.230 kV GIS Bus (4 Bus) 1.AEG GIS Bus 1 and Bus 2 2.XIAN GIS Bus 3 and Bus 4 F.115kV Metering Facilities G. Substation Automation System (SAS) / MBSC H.Protection, control, monitoring and Secondary Devices for the following: 1.2x230kV Transmission Lines 2.5x115kV Transmission Lines 3.5x300MVA Power Transformer I.Building facilities J.Backup generators 1.150 kVA Gen-set K.Fire Suppression System L. Building Fire Alarm System

Responsible for the safe, efficient and reliable operations of substation.

Executes operating orders and standard switching procedures during outages and normalization of substation equipment and transmission lines. Conducts routine inspections of all substation equipment and monitors operational parameters and data Report deficiencies/abnormalities based on equipment inspection of incidence. Coordination with the affected power customers during planned and forced outages. Participates and provides logistical support in the preventive and corrective maintenance activities of substation equipment. SUBSTATION SENIOR ENGINEER

Receives, prepares, transmits and files reports, correspondences and other related documents. Prepares switching sequences for the requested shutdowns Analyze operating parameters and to timely reports any deviation from normal values to immediate superior and concerned group. Implementation of IMS procedures.

Requirements: Position Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Registered Electrical Engineer Must have undergone Substation Operation’s Training (PM-OM-01 Rule 4.23) At least 3 years of relevant experience in Substation Operation English and Filipino literate Good leadership and management skills Good communication skills. Has a basic knowledge on AUTO CAD 2D and Microsoft Office. Troubleshooting of electrical wiring. Perform assigned tasks with less supervision.
