About the Role
This role requires the successful applicant to staff a first seizure clinic, an epilepsy clinic and ward service in both neurology and stroke.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent inpatient and outpatient care in neurology and epilepsy, including first‑seizure and epilepsy clinics.
Engage in neurology unit activities such as multidisciplinary meetings, quality projects and medical education.
Qualifications
Undergraduate or postgraduate medical degree.
Appropriate specialty qualifications (e.g., Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, subspecialty epilepsy training, and ANZAN level 2 or higher EEG accreditation).
Experience and good working knowledge of the diagnosis and management of patients with epilepsy, general neurological conditions and stroke in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
Proven ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated skills in epilepsy, neurological and stroke diagnosis and management.
Well‑developed approach to clinical medicine and medical education.
