Finance Director

A leading multisite business in Canberra is seeking a Finance Director to join its Executive Team and help shape the financial future of a high-performing facility.

About the Role This is a hands-on, leadership position that plays a critical role in driving financial performance, improving operational outcomes, and overseeing support finance and broader business support functions.

Reporting directly to the General Manager you’ll be the key financial and commercial advisor to the business providing trusted insights, managing the end-to-end finance function, and partnering with internal stakeholders to identify and execute improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage financial governance, planning, reporting and analysis across the business

Provide strategic and commercial advice to the Executive team to support growth and operational excellence

Prepare and present annual budgets, forecasts, and business cases for key capital and operational initiatives

Oversee procurement, administration, and other non-clinical departments to ensure efficiency and performance

What You’ll Bring

CA or CPA qualification with a strong background in financial leadership

Proven experience managing financial functions within a complex, service-oriented environment

Exceptional business partnering, stakeholder management and communication skills

Strong people leadership with the ability to work across the business
