Key Responsibilities

Lead our Australian practice, collaborating with colleagues across the US and EMEA.

Drive business development through network engagement and active participation in the startup community.

Find creative and innovative solutions to client challenges, enabling real growth across all facets of technology law.

Deliver exceptionally high‑quality, detailed legal work that sets us apart.

Take ownership of key client relationships and matters.

Act as a trusted guide, enabling tech innovators to achieve their objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

10+ years PQE qualified lawyer with a track record of excellence.

Generalist with deep expertise in areas such as Corporate Commercial, Cyber & Data Privacy, IP, or Financing.

Dual qualification in another jurisdiction and experience in both high‑level external legal service and in‑house roles is a nice to have.

Critical thinker, intellectually curious, and highly resourceful problem solver.

Skilled at integrating emerging technologies—especially AI—into legal practice.

Authentic communicator who connects with startup/scale‑up founders and C‑suite teams.

Creative mindset, delivering pragmatic solutions even with incomplete information.

Proficient in breaking down complexity and developing logical, actionable strategies.

Self‑starter mentality, comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and driving results.

Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, valuing independence.
