Travel Medicine Doctor

Job Opportunity: Travel Medicine Physician (Part‑time) We are a full‑time travel medicine clinic specialising in preventative medicine, pre‑ and post‑travel care, and occupational travel health.

Our clinic has operated for over 35 years and currently staffs two doctors, three registered nurses, and three administrative staff.

We are seeking a doctor to work two days per week (ideally Monday and Thursday, commencing May 2026).

Core Responsibilities

Perform medical assessments on travellers posted internationally with large corporate and government organisations.

Provide routine vaccinations and travel‑specific immunisations.

Deliver travel health advice for destinations such as jungles, offshore oil/gas platforms, high‑altitude mines, etc.

Collaborate with company liaisons and practice management.

Qualifications & Experience

Post‑graduate qualifications in travel medicine preferred, but candidates with ongoing training are welcome.

Extensive travel experience to remote areas an advantage.

Strong communication and client‑service skills.

Remuneration Private billing – remuneration 65 % of consultation billing, typically $250–$300 per hour.
