Your day-to-day

Get involved in the design and architecture of Azure solutions tailored to meet clients' business requirements and technical specifications

Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable Azure-based solutions

Work with an AI-centric mindset to identify and enhance existing processes using modern AI tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot and Gemini

Drive the implementation and configuration of Azure services, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards

Implement robust security measures and compliance controls to safeguard Azure environments and data

Monitor, optimise, and troubleshoot Azure solutions to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability

Stay updated on the latest Azure and AI features, services, and trends to advise clients on continuous optimisation and innovation opportunities

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on maximising the value of Azure investments and achieving business outcomes

Willingness to continually upskill; including learning new technologies and obtaining new certifications

Use professional judgement while treating colleagues and clients with respect and compassion, and a demonstrated ability to display our five Mantel principles

Understand and integrate AI models into IDE environments for AI-enhanced development of IaaC

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

Good written & verbal communication skills, including strong stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills

Ability to identify trends within their practice relating to products and services and communicate them effectively to the wider practice

Bring a positive can-do attitude to the team

Ability to lead and mentor others where appropriate

Demonstrated ability to adhere to reporting deadlines

What Tech You’ll Need To Know

3+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure solutions in complex enterprise environments

Proven experience with Azure cloud migration projects from assessment to implementation

Solid knowledge of Azure networking, security, identity, and access management concepts and best practices

Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Teraform, Bicep, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent certifications preferred

Understanding of AI models and understand best-fit models for IaaC development
