About the Role
You will provide practical, commercially focused legal advice across transport, logistics, property development, construction and corporate governance. The work is varied and often fast moving but always carried out within clear frameworks and established processes. You will manage multiple matters simultaneously, applying sound judgement and technical expertise to deliver high‑quality outcomes without compromise.
The role supports both day‑to‑day operations and long‑term strategic initiatives, and involves balanced collaboration with internal stakeholders, senior management and external advisers.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial and Contract Management
Draft, review and negotiate commercial, supplier and customer agreements
Support procurement, vendor relationships and commercial frameworks
Provide clear, pragmatic advice that aligns legal considerations with operational needs
Regulatory and Compliance
Advise on legal and regulatory obligations across transport, logistics and property
Identify, assess and mitigate legal and operational risks
Strengthen compliance programs, policy frameworks and governance processes
Corporate and Strategic Support
Assist with M&A activity, including due diligence and transaction support
Work with external legal advisers as required
Support governance activities, board documentation and corporate processes
Investigations and Integrity
Lead and support internal investigations
Provide guidance on policies, compliance frameworks and business integrity
Property and Construction
Assist with leasing, property acquisition, development and construction matters
Prepare and review documentation for property transactions and project delivery
About You

You bring strong commercial judgement and the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical, actionable advice. You are calm, thorough and reliable, and you naturally maintain accountability in your work.
You will have:
Admission as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland (mandatory)
Experience in commercial, corporate, construction or industrial law
Strong commercial acumen and a solutions‑focused mindset
Confidence engaging with senior leaders and stakeholders
The ability to work autonomously while fostering trusted relationships
High levels of integrity, accuracy and professional maturity
