About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, People and Culture, you will step into a critical leadership role within the P&C team. This job offers a unique opportunity to act as a trusted advisor, utilising the CADS Leadership Framework (Coach, Advise, Develop, and Support) to build organisational capability. You will foster a high‑performing, values‑led workforce that remains steadfastly compliant with NDIS Practice Standards and Fair Work legislation. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering & Leadership
Strategic Alignment: Align P&C strategies with business unit goals to drive sustainable service growth.
Capability Building: Lead the CADS framework to coach and develop leaders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Workforce Planning: Partner with managers on talent management and recruitment pipelines.
Advice & Advocacy: Provide expert counsel on complex ER/IR matters and performance management.
Safety, Wellbeing & Compliance
WHS Leadership: Proactively promote psychological safety and wellbeing strategies.
Return to Work (RTW): Oversee RTW processes, ensuring compliance with RTWSA and coordinating safe staff rehabilitation.
Audit & Assurance: Lead internal and external audits to ensure NDIS compliance and industry standards.
Operations & Insights
Analytics: Lead workforce reporting to inform data‑driven decision‑making.
Onboarding: Oversee induction and training to integrate new staff into DLi’s culture.
Project Lead: Manage high‑impact P&C projects as directed by the General Manager.
What You’ll Bring
Essential Criteria
Experience: A proven background in P&C Business Partnering or senior HR leadership roles.
Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
Legal Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and IR/ER practices.
Compliance: A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable Criteria
Experience within the NDIS or Community Services sector.
Postgraduate HR qualifications or AHRI accreditation.
Personal Attributes & Conditions
Balance: The ability to switch between high‑level strategy and hands‑on functional support.
Resilience: A calm, solutions‑focused approach to navigating complex, fast‑paced environments.
Licensing: A current Australian Driver’s License and willingness to travel as required.
Flexibility: Willingness to undertake occasional out‑of‑hours work to meet organisational needs.
