Job Description
As a Solution Architect within SEEK’s Customer Architecture domain, you’ll sit in the Connect portfolio—focused on how employers and jobseekers interact across our Jobs Marketplace. Reporting into the Architecture function within SEEK’s Technology division, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining and guiding the technical direction of complex initiatives, aligning architecture with strategic priorities and enabling product and engineering teams to deliver with confidence.
This is a highly collaborative role that blends strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery support. You’ll be trusted to bring clarity to ambiguity, balance competing perspectives, and enable solutions that make a real difference at scale.

What You’ll Be Doing
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current and target states
Develop future state solution architectures to support SEEK’s business goals
Provide technical direction and recommendations across major initiatives
Identify solution options and help teams align on a path forward
Ensure non‑functional requirements are defined and addressed
Support delivery teams in understanding and implementing architectural direction
Drive alignment to architecture standards and best practices
Partner with product managers, engineering managers, and senior engineers to shape quality outcomes
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and guide decision‑making
Stay connected to SEEK’s evolving technology landscape and influence strategic roadmaps
The Opportunity
You’ll be joining a team of 20+ experienced architecture professionals at SEEK—working across Enterprise, Customer, Platform, Data & AI, Growth and Practice domains. In this role, you’ll be part of the
Connect portfolio
within Customer Architecture, focused on strengthening the interactions between hirers and candidates in the SEEK Jobs Marketplace. It’s a chance to solve challenging, meaningful problems at scale—while helping shape SEEK’s technology future.
Qualifications
Proven experience defining and documenting solution architectures
Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills across technical and non‑technical audiences
Experience in complex tech environments with diverse stakeholder needs
Commercial awareness and ability to balance strategy with delivery pragmatism
Comfort navigating ambiguity and working within evolving problem spaces
A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
