Head of Marketing Acquisition

Australian financial services organisation

seeking an experienced

Acquisition Marketing Leader

to drive new customer growth across its payments portfolio. This is a

strategic and hands on leadership role

focused on delivering measurable commercial outcomes through

digital and above the line acquisition strategies.

You will work closely with product leaders, analytics, technology, and agency partners to define acquisition goals, optimise performance, and ensure disciplined budget management. Key Responsibilities

Design and execute digital and above the line acquisition strategies aligned to product and commercial targets Lead integrated campaigns across paid media, brand channels, and performance marketing Align closely with product leaders to define goals, metrics, and commercial outcomes Drive continuous optimisation through campaign analysis, testing frameworks, and performance tracking Partner with data and analytics teams to improve targeting, segmentation, and conversion performance Manage external media and creative agencies, including contracts, KPIs, and performance outcomes Plan, allocate, and monitor acquisition budgets to ensure ROI and spend efficiency Lead and develop a high performing acquisition marketing team Support partner led promotional initiatives within the payments ecosystem About You

Proven track record leading direct acquisition marketing in financial services or another regulated industry Strong experience across digital media, performance marketing, and above the line campaigns Demonstrated success delivering measurable customer growth outcomes Experience managing agencies and complex stakeholder environments Strong commercial acumen with clear ownership of ROI and budget discipline Experience leading and developing marketing teams Exposure to payments, cards, or consumer finance If you are a results driven acquisition leader ready to drive growth in a dynamic payments environment, we would love to speak with you.
