An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Learning & Development Business Partner to join National Dental Care following an internal promotion within our team. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys delivering learning that makes a real impact — partnering with leaders to design, deliver and embed learning programs that build capability across a growing national organisation.

National Dental Care is one of Australia’s largest Dental Services Organisation, supporting almost 1 000 dental professionals and support team members across a growing national network of 111 practices. Learning and development sit at the centre of our strategy, supported by our Clinical Advisory Committee and strong focus on continuous improvement.
About the Role
As the Learning & Development Business Partner, you will play a key role in bringing learning to life across National Dental Care.
Working closely with the Learning & Development Manager, operational leaders and clinical stakeholders, you will translate learning needs into engaging programs that build capability, support career pathways, and improve performance across both clinical and non‑clinical teams.
This is a highly collaborative role where you will partner with stakeholders, develop and deliver learning solutions, work with external suppliers and training partners, and ensure learning programs are effectively embedded across practices. While facilitation forms part of the role, the primary focus is on partnering with stakeholders and ensuring learning solutions are effectively implemented and embedded across the organisation. You’ll be involved across the full learning lifecycle — from identifying capability gaps through to program development, delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
Partner with Operations and Clinical leaders to identify capability needs
Design and deliver learning programs aligned to business needs
Manage day‑to‑day relationships with training suppliers and external partners (including RTOs)
Contribute to traineeship and capability development programmes
Facilitate training sessions (virtual and face‑to‑face)
Support learning system improvements and reporting
About You
You bring strong facilitation skills, experience delivering learning programmes, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to create practical learning solutions.
You will have:
5+ years’ experience in Learning & Development
Experience designing and delivering training programmes
Experience working with LMS platforms and digital learning tools
Understanding of adult learning principles
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience in dentistry or healthcare and Articulate Storyline experience are highly regarded.
A current driver’s licence, access to a vehicle, and the ability to travel interstate as required.
