Associate - Dispute Resolution (2-4 Years) - Melbourne

A leading international law firm with a strong sector focus and global footprint is seeking a talented Associate (2–4 years PQE) to join its growing Dispute Resolution team in Melbourne.

The Role This is a unique opportunity to work on a significant, high-value class action currently before the Federal Court, involving allegations against the Federal Government across multiple jurisdictions. You will also gain exposure to broader corporate and commercial litigation.

You will work closely with an experienced disputes partner and a collaborative team of senior lawyers on all aspects of the proceeding, including:

Evidence preparation and management;

Interlocutory applications;

Briefing and liaising with Counsel; and

Court appearances and client engagement.

About You

2–4 years’ PQE with experience in class actions.

Alternatively, strong commercial litigation experience with a genuine interest in class actions.

Experience working within large, multi-disciplinary legal teams.

Excellent drafting and communication skills.
