About the role
St John Ambulance Victoria are seeking an experienced
Senior Manager โ Business Development
who will be responsible for driving new business opportunities in all aspect of the events sector in Melbourne and Victoria within our Volunteer & Event Health Services (VEHS) with a focus on community, major events & venues.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, overseeing and guiding the business development & event support team, focusing on revenue generation, cost management and general business deliverables. You will provide managerial support to the team, while providing an exceptional level of inclusiveness and respect.
This role is based at our Notting Hill headquarters.
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
Extensive experience in sales and/or major account management within a customer service or service delivery environment
Demonstrated experience managing and nurturing teams, as individuals and as a collective
Strong commercial acumen, account management, consultative selling, and negotiation skills
Advanced financial literacy and business acumen
Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
Ability to recommend improvements to positions or services provided
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Full drivers license
