The position will be based in Roma or Chinchilla (to be negotiated) and will provide advice and support to school staff regarding financial management. The Senior Finance Advisor works directly with schools and will: Support the development and delivery of financial management training material to support schools. Assist with the development and communication of school accounting policies and procedures. Responsibilities

Undertaking analysis of the financial management practices and financial performance of schools. Providing financial management advice to school-based staff. Monitoring the level of financial management competencies within schools. Providing appropriate training and development programs to enhance financial management skills. Working effectively in a team environment. The Perfect Fit

To Be Successful In This Position You Will Have

Sound knowledge of contemporary financial management issues and strategies impacting schools. Ability to interrogate and analyse school financial management systems - Agresso and OneSchool Finance. Ability to deliver training programs relating to school financial management, including in an online format. High-level communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to influence customer behaviour and implement change. Demonstrated leadership and management skills appropriate to achieving outcomes within negotiated timeframes. Interested? To Apply
