Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in power systems, grid connection, PPC, SCADA, or renewable energy projects (solar/BESS preferred).
Basic understanding of Australian grid connection requirements and relevant standards (e.g., AS/NZS 4777 and applicable grid codes).
Familiarity with plant control systems, inverter control logic, and BESS control principles.
Hands‑on experience or exposure to communication protocols such as IEC 60870‑5‑104, Modbus TCP, DNP3, or OPC‑UA.
Ability to read and interpret single line diagrams (SLDs), control schematics, and functional design specifications.
Experience supporting commissioning, testing, or troubleshooting activities in renewable or power projects is preferred.
Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, sales, and project teams.
Proactive mindset with willingness to learn grid compliance and plant control strategies in depth.
