For the past year, we've been secretly building the YouTube channels of some of Australia's top podcasts. Now, we're taking it public.

The Role We're looking for a Head of YouTube to own YouTube strategy at Pivotal Conversations, and lead our team to be the best in Australia. You'll be the go‑to person for our clients' YouTube growth – from strategy and channel management to content optimisation and performance reporting. You'll work directly with clients, lead the ideation & execution of their YouTube strategy, and make sure every channel we touch is growing, engaging, and impossible to ignore.

What You'll Do

Own the YouTube strategy and growth for multiple client channels end to end.

Be the primary point of contact for YouTube clients – running calls, presenting results, and building relationships and a customer experience they can't leave

Work with a team of editors, thumbnail designers and coordinators to deliver content drive subscribers, watch time, and revenue.

Analyse channel performance, spot trends, and turn data into actionable plans that actually move the needle.

Brief content ideas, podcast run sheets and edits that increase viewership

Optimise titles, thumbnails, descriptions, tags, and upload schedules to maximise reach and retention.

Stay ahead of YouTube algorithm changes, trends, and best practices – and bring that knowledge to the team.

Report on KPIs and present growth insights to clients in a way that builds trust and keeps them excited.

You'll Smash This Role If You:

Have real, proven experience growing YouTube channels – whether for brands, creators, or your own.

Know YouTube inside out – algorithm, analytics, SEO, thumbnails, retention curves, the lot.

Can manage multiple client accounts without dropping a ball.

Don't need hand-holding – you know how to own a project and get it done.

Are confident presenting to clients and communicating like a real human, not a robot.

Care about quality and will fight for it – mediocre doesn't fly here.

Handle pressure without losing your cool.

Can think strategically and creatively – you're not just pushing buttons, you're driving results.
