Job Description The Opportunity:

We’re seeking a Head of IT to lead the organisation’s technology direction and support business outcomes today while preparing for future growth. This role will shape enterprise architecture, guide responsible AI adoption, and lead a significant ERP upgrade.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy & Direction:

Set & lead the organisation’s technology strategy to support current business outcomes and enable future growth.

Enterprise Architecture:

Establish & govern a fit-for-purpose Enterprise Architecture, aligning business processes applications, data, and infrastructure to reduce complexity & technical debt.

AI Strategy & Adoption:

Lead the responsible adoption of AI by identifying high-value cases and delivering secure, ethical, and scalable solutions with measurable business impact.

ERP Upgrade Delivery:

Deliver a major ERP upgrade, managing vendors, governance, change management, and alignment to future-state business processes to ensure strong adoption and trust.

IT Operations & Governance:

Ensure reliable, secure, and well-governed IT operations, including cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, and financial stewardship.

Executive Partnership & Team Leadership:

Build strong relationships across the executive and business, provide clear technology leadership, and develop a capable high-performing IT team.

Desired Skills and Experience To Succeed With Us:

Senior IT leadership experience (Head of IT or similar), with accountability for organisation-wide technology strategy and delivery

Proven experience establishing and leading Enterprising Architecture, with the ability to align technology decisions to business priorities and reduce complexity

Demonstrated experience leading at least one major ERP implementation or upgrade, including vendor management, governance, change management, and business adoption.

Strong business and stakeholder engagement skills

Experience managing vendors, budgets, and large programs and leading secure, well governed IT Operations.
