JR101725**Your Role as a Cyber Security Engineer**The Cyber Security Engineer, a hands-on technical role, is a member of the Infrastructure & Security Team and works closely with the other members of the broader Business Solutions Group to support implementation of a comprehensive network and security controls.This includes review of current risks, controls selection, gap analysis, design, and implementation of selected controls. The Cyber Security Engineer provides input int the selection and performs deployment of technical controls to meet specific security requirements.You will also:* Work with various business units and with other risk functions to identify security requirements, using methods that may include risk and business impact assessments.* Support information security initiatives which include large-scale transformational projects, such as upgrading and hardening legacy operating systems and web applications using industry best practices.* Perform vulnerability scanning, assessment, and prioritisation of remediation requirements for endpoints, servers, and network devices.* Perform analysis on security architecture and make recommendations for system and security enhancements.* Critically analyse and interpret security policies and ISMS requirements and proactively recommend improvements to enhance security posture.* Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control including performing system/unit testing.**What We Offer*** **Salary packaging benefits** – Boost your take-home pay by up to $18,550 annually through not-for-profit tax concessions and access to a meal and entertainment card!* **Work-life balance and hybrid opportunities** – Enjoy more flexibility with your working hours as well as work from home options.* **Perks and Benefits** – We love our employee benefits, and you’ll love them too!
