Technical Lead

About the Role As a

Technical Lead , you'll play a key role within our software leadership team – guiding developers, designing solutions, and ensuring the technical success of our agile product teams. You'll work across frontend and backend technologies within a modern, cloud‑based environment to deliver innovative, scalable SaaS products trusted by global clients.

What You’ll Do

Take accountability for the technical delivery of your scrum team.

Provide technical direction, mentorship, and coaching to developers.

Collaborate with architects and product teams to define service direction and standards.

Design and develop secure, performant code across front‑end and back‑end systems.

Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and cross‑team technical discussions.

Assess risks, identify mitigations, and maintain delivery trajectories.

Continuously refine team practices through retrospectives and process improvements.

Engage in technical forums to shape development standards and solve complex challenges.

What You’ll Bring

Strong experience developing in AWS cloud environments.

Proven expertise in both web and application development, ideally with:

Java (Play Framework)

MySQL

Angular or React

Kubernetes / containerization

Experience building microservices for cloud‑native, multitenant SaaS platforms.

Working knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub.

Background delivering end‑to‑end solutions aligned to business outcomes.

Excellent collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills.

Desirable

Experience with orchestration or event‑based distributed systems.

Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

AWS certification.
