A$106,534.00/yr - A$117,716.00/yr State Library Victoria, Australia's oldest public library and one of the first free public libraries in the world, is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to support workforce planning, recruitment and selection, case management, performance planning and change management. Partner with senior leaders to provide strong HR support and advice Utilise your HR expertise to enhance organisational culture Ongoing opportunity with hybrid working arrangements in a small, supportive team About the role As a Senior HR Business Partner for State Library Victoria, you will partner with a portfolio of client groups, providing tailored and tactful advice that addresses evolving challenges and drives continuous improvement. In addition to your role as a trusted partner, you will develop policy and manage HR projects that enhance organisational culture. This is a broad, full employee life-cycle role and your understanding of how to design and enhance talent acquisition processes will be beneficial to the position, as will your understanding of employment law and public sector regulations. What you will bring: The ideal candidate will demonstrate the capacity to successfully resolve a comprehensive range of employee relations issues, including performance management, investigations and grievances. You will also possess the self-awareness needed to successfully coach people leaders in shaping a collaborative and inclusive culture. Your stakeholder engagement skills will underpin your skills in influencing outcomes to ensure delivery for your clients and progression of People and Culture objectives. Key qualifications and experience include: Relevant tertiary studies (e.g. HR management, business, psychology) or equivalent work experience Developing, implementing and tailoring strategic HR initiatives (policy development, employee relations, project management) Demonstrated success in case managing employee relations / HR issues Partnering with hiring managers on talent acquisition Influencing senior leadership and managing multi-disciplinary projects Why join State Library Victoria?
