State Director - WA - Real Estate Investment Finance

weave. Recruitment has been exclusively retained to appoint a State Director to establish and lead the Western Australian presence of a rapidly scaling national private credit platform.

This is not a portfolio management role. It is a build role.

You will be the first representative on the ground in Perth, responsible for originating, structuring and executing real estate debt and equity investments while building a long term regional platform.

With strong head office backing and a clean slate locally, this role offers genuine autonomy and long term leadership upside.

The Focus Of The Role

Develop and execute a WA origination strategy aligned to target asset classes and return parameters

Build senior relationships with developers, brokers, banks and advisers across WA

Lead transaction structuring, underwriting and negotiation

Present credit submissions to Investment and Credit Committees

Manage third party diligence and drive transactions through to settlement

Support portfolio monitoring and risk management

Establish local operational presence and recruit over time

Proven track record in WA origination and execution

Deep network across the WA property and finance ecosystem

Strong structuring capability across development and income producing assets

Commercial judgement with disciplined risk awareness

Senior leadership autonomy

Clean portfolio start with minimal legacy exposures

Exposure to both first mortgage lending and JV equity

Clear pathway to build and lead a WA team
