General Manager, Precontracts - West

About the Role RSGx is looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager of Precontracts to establish and lead our Precontracts function here in Western Australia. Based in Perth, this pivotal leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the entire project pursuit lifecycle, from initial tender identification to the successful award and handover to our construction delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the precontracts strategy for the WA region to achieve revenue and growth targets

Lead the identification, qualification and prioritisation of new project opportunities

Oversee end-to-end tender process, ensuring delivery of high quality, compliant and commercially competitive bids

Lead the negotiation of head contracts, consortium agreements and major subcontracts

Collaborate with the engineering, estimating, and project development teams to develop robust technical solutions, construction methodologies, and accurate costings

Build, mentor and lead a team of bid managers, contract specialists, and estimators

About You

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction, Law or Commerce

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in project and precontracts management, work winning

Proven experience in the renewable sector highly regarded

Expertise in commercial and risk management
