The role
Support the expansion of ADLV Law's Private Client/Wealth/Estates practice: complex estate plans, succession for business owners, asset protection, EPOAs, testamentary trusts, deceased estates, and advisory to accountants/IFAs.
You'll:
Shape the practice vision and build it alongside our CEO and executive leadership team
Develop and mentor junior lawyers, teach them how to think, not just what to draft
Own client outcomes while building a sustainable, scalable service model
Co-create strategy and growth with transparency and shared accountability
You'll be a great fit if you:
Are
~5–10+ PQE
in private client/estates (or adjacent: tax/commercial with strong estate planning exposure)
Want to lead and teach, not just bill hours, you light up when junior lawyers "get it"
Feel stuck where you are, if you're capable of so much more but can't see a path forward in your current firm
You want growth, impact, and the opportunity to build ownership
Care about client experience, team culture, and quality systems
Are done with the solo grind but not ready to give up your impact or settle for "just another job"
What success looks like in 12 months
A thriving practice with repeatable monthly matter flow and a small team you're proud to lead
At least one junior lawyer you've developed who's hitting milestones and growing in confidence
Clear metrics on margins, lock-up, client experience, and team performance, you're leading with data, not guesswork
You're tracking towards equity - if ownership is where you want to go
What we don't ask you to do
Run payroll, negotiate leases, wrangle legacy PMS software, build spreadsheets from scratch, or chase invoices all day
Pretend there's a pathway when there isn't (we're upfront about opportunities and expectations)
