Role Overview
Are you a strategic marketer who loves leading campaigns that make a real difference in the community?
UnitingSA is looking for an experienced Marketing and Campaigns Lead to drive the marketing and promotion of our services, programs and projects across a large and diverse organisation.
In this senior, hands on role, you’ll develop and deliver campaigns across digital and traditional channels, working closely with Executive, Senior Managers and external agencies. You’ll provide clear, practical marketing advice, ensuring activity aligns with organisational priorities and brand direction.
You’ll oversee campaign performance and website experience, using data and insight to continuously refine results and improve the customer journey.
You’re organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities. You can move between developing detailed plans and delivering the work, whether that’s writing content, briefing creative, reviewing performance or managing budgets.
Most importantly, you understand that behind every campaign is a person, family or community. You’re motivated by using marketing to make services easier to find and easier to understand.
You’ll be joining a supportive, collaborative and high-performing Marketing, Communications and Partnerships team that is committed to using their skills to make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, development, implementation and evaluation of marketing campaigns aligned to organisational priorities, increasing awareness, engagement and lead generation.
Support the development and implementation of overarching brand and marketing strategies.
Conduct customer and market research to inform campaign direction and identify meaningful insights.
Measure, analyse and report on campaign performance, optimising activity in line with agreed KPIs.
Provide strategic marketing advice to Executive, Senior Managers and service leaders to support external engagement and growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external creative and media agencies.
Oversee paid digital activity including SEO, SEM, Google Ads and paid social campaigns.
Lead the copywriting, content development and ongoing optimisation of UnitingSA’s website.
Develop and oversee high quality written and visual content across digital, print and multimedia channels, ensuring brand consistency and accessibility standards are met.
Prepare Board and Executive reports and contribute to the development of marketing policies, processes and guidelines that promote best practice.
Skills & Experience
Considerable demonstrable experience in a similar position in a large organisation
Demonstrated success delivering marketing campaigns that increase engagement and lead generation.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver high quality outcomes within required timeframes.
Experience analysing marketing and digital performance data and translating insights into recommendations.
Proven experience working with creative and media agencies.
Strong knowledge of marketing, advertising, content and digital best practice.
Highly developed written communication skills with strong attention to detail and proofreading capability.
Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics and digital reporting tools.
Confidence in CRM systems, email marketing platforms, social media tools and WordPress.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage stakeholders at all levels.
