As an Emergency Relief Assessor, you’ll speak with community members over the phone, listen to their story, understand their needs, and connect them with practical support that can make a real difference in their day-to-day lives.This full-time, permanent role is based at our Morley site, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:45am–5:15pm. Flexible hybrid working arrangements are available, with a minimum of two days per week in the office. Pay is in accordance with the SCHADS Level 3 Award.# **How you will make an impact*** Create a safe, respectful space for people to share what they’re going through* Hold meaningful phone conversations that help you understand each person’s situation* Provide emergency relief and practical support tailored to individual needs* Connect people with the right services through thoughtful referrals and advocacy* Keep clear, accurate records so every person receives consistent, high-quality support* Notice emerging needs or gaps and share insights that help strengthen the service* Work closely with your team and local mission partners to ensure people feel supported from the moment they reach out# **What you will bring*** A Certificate IV in Community Services (minimum requirement)* Diploma or above in Community Services will be highly regarded* Relevant experience in the community services sector* Experience supporting people experiencing hardship, vulnerability, or trauma* Confidence engaging with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds* Ability to remain calm, empathetic, and solution-focused in challenging or fast-paced situations* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* A collaborative approach and commitment to TSA’s values and person-centred practice# **What we offer*** NFP salary packaging benefits (up to $15,900 tax-free) and Entertainment Benefit ($2,650 tax-free)* Flexible and hybrid working arrangements (minimum two days in office)* Employee Assistance Program – confidential counselling service* Financial, retail, and lifestyle discounts* Discounted health and fitness programs through Fitness Passport* Up to 8 weeks of leave per year through our purchase leave scheme* Generous parental leave (12 weeks)* Up to 5 days paid leave per year to support a TSA program or activity* A supportive, inclusive culture with passionate and dedicated team members* The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people experiencing hardship# **How to apply**If you’re ready to use your skills to support a vital community service, we’d love to hear from you.
