The Role As

Head of Defence , you will oversee the delivery and commercial performance of the Defence portfolio nationally. You’ll drive strategic growth, lead a multidisciplinary team, and ensure operational excellence across major projects.

Responsibilities

Leading and managing Defence project delivery from inception to completion

Driving business performance to achieve growth and profitability targets

Overseeing compliance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement

Developing and mentoring technical and non-technical team members

Building relationships with key Defence and government clients

About You You are a strong strategic leader with a technical background in building, construction, or certification. You bring a proven track record of delivering Defence or large‑scale infrastructure projects with financial accountability and high client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years’ leadership experience in a similar field

Unrestricted accreditation and associated memberships within state requirements.

Strong commercial and risk management acumen

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Tertiary qualifications relevant to building, engineering, or construction

A collaborative, professional, and solutions‑focused approach
