A private investment group is seeking an accomplished General Manager to take a senior leadership position working directly with the business owner. This is a rare opportunity to step into a broad role spanning commercial finance, development analysis, operational leadership and strategic planning.

About the Role You will guide the financial and operational direction of the business, bringing structure, insight and commercial discipline to support growth. The role suits someone who enjoys variety from reviewing development scenarios and financial models to refining internal processes, mentoring staff and supporting long-term planning.

Key Focus Areas

Commercial analysis, financial modelling and scenario planning

Reviewing development and lending opportunities

Strengthening internal systems, reporting and governance

Providing strategic advice and partnering closely with the owner

Enhancing operational efficiency and team capability

Leading financial performance reviews and business planning cycles

About You

Experience in property development finance, investment management or first-mortgage lending

Strong capability in feasibility modelling, financial analysis and commercial decision support

Experience leading finance and operational functions in a growing or evolving business

Understanding of compliance frameworks, AFSL or ASIC obligations

Demonstrated ability to build teams, improve processes and drive performance

A proactive, commercially minded approach with high attention to detail.
