Solution Architect - MarTech

The Opportunity A major financial institution is seeking a Marketing Technology (MarTech) Technical Architect for a 12‑month contract, preference for Brisbane based but open to Melbourne. This role involves documenting current MarTech use cases, supporting the selection of suitable vendors, and ensuring a smooth transition and high‑quality documentation.

The Role As a MarTech Technical Architect you will act as the MarTech SME assisting with the vendor selection process. Your responsibilities will include:

Document current MarTech use cases, formulating detailed technical requirements adhering to established architecture practice, documentation standards & quality guidelines.

Utilise your MarTech expertise to support the vendor selection process, ensuring a strong preference for MarTech expertise and controls usage.

Cooperate with integration teams to understand the current MarTech stack, documenting use cases and formulating requirements.

Utilise your integration knowledge to ensure the planning for a smooth transition and the successful selection of the vendor.

Collaborate with interstate teams to ensure the vendors are thoroughly assessed and responses correlated in line with MarTech requirements.

About you In order to be a successful applicant you will be Brisbane or Melbourne based and have extensive experience working across the MarTech stack. You will also have:

A deep understanding of the MarTech stack, including systems and controls

(mandatory)

The ability to produce high‑quality documentation that clearly translates technical requirements

Proficiency in APIs, integration, security & SaaS solutions

The ability to effectively navigate complex technical environments, maintaining a holistic approach throughout.

Excellent communication & problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into commercially viable solution designs.
