We’re now seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the business end‑to‑end—driving performance, building capability, strengthening client partnerships, and setting a clear strategy for growth.
The Opportunity As General Manager, you’ll take ownership of operations, revenue, team leadership, and delivery standards. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll balance strategic planning with day‑to‑day execution—ensuring the business runs smoothly while scaling sustainably.
You’ll work closely with Managing Director to deliver our commercial goals and build a high‑performing culture aligned to Unite Resourcing’s values.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the business strategy and execute growth plans across clients, sectors, and service lines
Drive revenue, gross margin, and profitability, with strong forecasting and reporting
Build and lead a high‑performing team across recruitment, account management, and operations
Strengthen key client relationships and personally lead major opportunities and negotiations
Improve systems, processes, and performance rhythms (KPIs, coaching, reviews, incentives)
Ensure best‑practice compliance across employment, WHS, and candidate care standards
Oversee operational delivery: service quality, response times, fill rates, and retention
Champion culture: accountability, collaboration, professional development, and wellbeing
About You
You’re a commercially minded leader who knows how to grow service businesses and bring people with you. You’re confident setting direction, coaching leaders, and improving performance without compromising on integrity.
You’ll bring:
Proven experience in a General Manager / Operations Manager / Business Manager role
Strong background in recruitment, labour hire, staffing, or professional services (highly regarded)
Demonstrated success in growth, margin improvement, and team leadership
Excellent client‑facing capability—credible, calm, and solutions‑oriented
Operational strength: systems, KPIs, process improvement, and compliance
A leadership style that builds trust, clarity, and accountability
