Senior Director - Investment & Portfolio Growth

A rare opportunity exists for a senior investment and/or development leader to join a large, well-capitalised property investment & development platform delivering some of the most complex and high-profile projects in the market. This organisation operates at scale across mixed-use, residential, commercial and precinct developments, partnering with institutional capital, private and public stakeholders to unlock long-term value from strategically significant sites. With a substantial development pipeline and strong balance sheet, the business is seeking an experienced Senior Director to lead deal origination, asset repositioning and development structuring. The Role Reporting to executive leadership, you will be responsible for building and converting a high-quality investment & development pipeline. This role sits at the front end of the business, originating opportunities, structuring deals, unlocking site potential and guiding projects through to delivery. You will work across acquisition, investment management, development, partnership structuring, feasibility and capital strategy, while leading a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Originate and structure major investment & portfolio development opportunities Identify, assess and secure strategic sites and partnerships Lead complex feasibility, funding and return modelling Develop innovative commercial and delivery structures Reposition and optimise existing assets and precincts Structure joint ventures, development agreements and capital partnerships Lead negotiations with landowners, investors, developers and authorities Oversee investment cases and commercial approvals Present opportunities to executive leadership and boards Build and lead a high-performing investments team Drive best-practice governance, risk and commercial discipline Contribute to broader portfolio and capital strategy About You You are a commercially focused development leader with a strong private-sector track record in complex, large-scale projects. You are comfortable operating across origination, structuring, execution and leadership. You will likely bring: 15+ years’ experience in property investment, development or infrastructure Proven success originating and delivering major mixed-use or precinct projects Strong expertise in feasibility, structuring and capital strategy Experience working with institutional capital and joint venture partners Demonstrated ability to unlock value in complex sites Highly developed commercial and negotiation skills Experience leading senior, multidisciplinary teams Confidence engaging at executive and board level Strategic mindset with strong execution capability Backgrounds from major developers, funds managers, institutional investors, infrastructure platforms or advisory firms are strongly encouraged. Qualifications & Experience Tertiary qualification in property, finance, construction, engineering, planning or related discipline Postgraduate or professional qualifications advantageous Strong track record in complex investment and/or development environments Why This Opportunity?
