Job Description
The Role
We are looking for a visionary Agile leader to elevate delivery capabilities at Australia’s leading digital publishing business. As the owner of the “When” and the “How,” you will partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to navigate complex platform transformations while maintaining the stability of our iconic brands. This is a strategic leadership role focused on driving predictability, transparency, and flow across a fast-paced, high-availability environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a cohort of Delivery Leads, fostering a culture of psychological safety, growth, and high performance.
Act as the bridge between Product strategy and Engineering feasibility, harmonising requirements into a predictable roadmap.
Use data-driven flow metrics (e.g., Cycle Time, Flow Efficiency) to diagnose bottlenecks and implement systemic process improvements.
Guide the organisation through its evolution from siloed teams toward horizontal value streams.
Proactively identify and mitigate complex risks and impediments that span multiple squads and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Proven experience leading delivery functions in high-traffic, always-on digital environments.
Deep expertise in using flow metrics to manage WIP and drive data-informed improvements at a portfolio level.
Ability to translate complex delivery data into clear, outcome-focused narratives for C-level executives.
Demonstrated experience guiding teams through significant organisational change and operating model shifts.
Required to be Sydney based, with 3 days per week onsite in North Sydney.
