Job Description

About the role We are seeking a highly experienced

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert legal advice on major infrastructure and construction projects, including tenders, procurement, and delivery.

Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts including D&C, EPC, ITC, Alliance, PPP, JV agreements and subcontracts.

Manage and mitigate legal, commercial, and reputational risks across projects.

Support dispute resolution processes, including claims, variations, and extensions of time.

Oversee relationships with external legal service providers.

Ensure compliance with Australian regulatory and governance requirements.

Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, project managers, and commercial leaders.

About You

Current practising certificate and relevant legal qualifications (LLB or equivalent).

Minimum 8+ years post-admission experience, with a strong focus on major infrastructure projects including transport and civil infrastructure and renewable energy.

Proven expertise across both front-end (transactional) and back-end (dispute resolution) legal matters.

Demonstrated ability to provide strategic legal advice that balances risk management with commercial outcomes.

Strong drafting, review and negotiation skills including an ability to manage high-value transactions.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with senior executives, project managers, and engineers.

High levels of integrity, sound judgment, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
