Expressions of Interest – Outreach Clinical Psychiatrists Multiple Vacancies | Aboriginal Medical Services Across NSW

invites Expressions of Interest from Clinical Psychiatrists to deliver outreach mental health services across Aboriginal Medical Services (AMSs) in NSW. These roles are supported by the NSW Health Central West Aboriginal Mental Health and Wellbeing Program and the Commonwealth-funded outreach programs, enabling sustainable and culturally safe psychiatric care for Aboriginal communities.

About the Opportunities Clinicians will provide a blend of face-to-face and telehealth consultations as required.

Psychiatric assessment and diagnostic clarification

Medication management

Collaborative care with Aboriginal Health Workers, mental health clinicians, GPs, psychologists, and multidisciplinary teams

Clinical support for individuals experiencing mental health conditions, including ADHD assessment and diagnostic clarification

Remuneration is competitive, and travel expenses are covered for in-person outreach visits.

Qualifications

Current AHPRA registration

Fellowship with the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP)

Or RANZCP fellowship trainees with supervisor support

Or Rural Generalists with advanced mental health skills
