As the Head of Learning Design & Systems, you’ll lead a team of learning designers and systems specialists to design, develop, and optimise innovative, accessible learning programs that make a real impact. You will work closely with senior leaders, IT and HR to align learning design and systems with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and embed a consistent, enterprise-wide learning design framework aligned to strategic goals.
Lead the design, governance, and delivery of learning programs using evidence‑based methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, adult learning principles).
Champion innovation in digital, blended, and experiential learning.
Ensure learning solutions are inclusive, accessible, and measurable.
Maintain quality assurance across instructional design and content development.
Oversee and optimise the Learning Management System (LMS) and related technologies.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of learning designers and systems specialists.
Monitor learning effectiveness and system performance using data‑driven insights.
Manage budgets, business cases, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Demonstrated experience in learning design, digital learning, or systems management.
Proven leadership in managing design teams and enterprise learning technologies.
Expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and digital pedagogy.
Strong experience with LMS administration, integration, and optimisation.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and collaboration skills.
A passion for technology‑enabled learning and organisational development.
